When a yard keeps washing out, it's not just an eyesore - it's a warning sign. Poor drainage puts your lawn, your foundation, and even your home's structural integrity at risk. This customer was dealing with exactly that. Clogged lines and improper runoff had been slowly eating away at the yard, and it was getting worse.

Here's the thing about drainage issues - they rarely fix themselves. Water always finds the path of least resistance, and if that path runs through your yard or toward your foundation, the damage compounds over time. We came out, assessed the full scope of what was going on, and put together a plan to actually solve it rather than just patch it.

The work involved trenching out long, clean runs across the yard and laying solid drainage pipe to redirect water where it belongs. We brought in the right equipment to do it efficiently without tearing up more of the yard than necessary. Every connection and outlet point was set up intentionally - no guesswork, no shortcuts.

A drainage system is only as good as its design. That's something a lot of people don't realize until they've already had a half-hearted fix fail on them. We think about where the water is coming from, where it needs to go, and what could cause problems down the road. That's the difference between a real solution and a temporary one.

If your yard has soft spots, standing water, or you notice soil washing away after a rain, those are signs something isn't draining right. Getting ahead of it now is always cheaper than dealing with foundation repairs or major erosion later. We do this work every day and we know what it takes to get it right.
